Pinch-Pleat Drapery in Chino Hills

The brief

The home had been recently finished: white walls, dark hardwood, recessed lighting. Bare windows in every bedroom meant early light and no privacy after dark. The owners wanted fabric at the window, with a different character in each room rather than one repeated look.

Our solution

We measured each opening and fabricated custom pinch-pleat panels with generous fullness, so the folds hold their line whether the drapery is open or drawn. Colour was chosen room by room: plum velvet for one bedroom, warm camel for the primary, a quiet greige linen for the guest room, and a deep teal for the living room. Slim brass rods with clear crystal finials tie the rooms together.

The result

Bedrooms read calm and finished. In the living room, the teal panels soften the large windows and cut glare on the screen while daylight still filters through the fabric. The plantation shutters already in place stay visible where they matter, with drapery layered around them.
