The brief
The home had wide windows, pale walls and light wood floors. The owners wanted warmth without weight, and full coverage when the panels are drawn. Hard window coverings felt too rigid for the rooms.
Our solution
We specified Custom Drapery in a textured taupe fabric with a subtle linen weave. Pinch pleats were hand-formed and spaced so the folds stay even from header to hem. Slim brass rods with round glass-look finials sit above the opening, carrying the eye upward and letting the panels stack cleanly at the sides.
The result
Closed, the fabric reads as a calm, continuous surface against the white walls. Where daylight presses through, the weave glows warm and the room stays soft rather than dark. The break at the floor is kept short, so the hems sit neatly on the wood.
